Bridging Community and Art.
Niyah works at the intersection of two disciplines that share a common language: space. Trained as an urban planner, she studies how streets, plazas, and parks shape the way people gather, linger, and connect.
As a contemporary dancer, she understands space through the body. Her practice brings these worlds together, using movement and live performance to activate public spaces and invite communities to experience their neighborhoods in new ways.
The result is placemaking that feels human. Every project begins by listening to the people who use a place and ends with art that reflects them.
